Dersin Amacı:

It covers basic concepts related to the course date in the development of epidemiology, use the areas of epidemiology, health criteria used in determining the community's health status, In our country the most common respiratory, digestive, skin, mucous membranes and clinical characteristics of the disease transmitted by way of blood, prevention and control, treatment, nursing care principles.

Dersin İçeriği:

Introduction to epidemiology and the Communicable Diseases Nursing course includes the basic concepts related to epidemiology, all factors affecting the public health, evaluating the factors related to the epidemiological features and information about epidemiological researches, the prevention of common infectious diseases in our country, treatment and nursing care. In the scope of the course, basic concepts of epidemiology, characteristics of epidemiological research, active-environment-human interaction, application areas of epidemiology (infectious diseases, cardiovascular diseases, cancer epidemiology), blood, respiratory, digestive, skin, mucosal and common diseases and nursing care, immunization and nursing responsibility, and hospital infections.
