Technological and scientific advances in surgical treatment methods have increased the importance of anesthesia services; in parallel, the need for qualified anesthesia technicians has also risen steadily. Anesthesia Program graduates have a wide range of employment opportunities in many public and private healthcare institutions.

Graduates work in:

Operating rooms of state hospitals, teaching and research hospitals, and university hospitals;

Private hospitals, medical centers, private surgical clinics, and maternity hospitals;

Resuscitation (intensive care) units, emergency departments, and other clinical practice areas requiring sedation;

Pain clinics, endoscopy units, outpatient surgery centers, and similar interventional diagnosis and treatment units,

Medical companies dealing with anesthesia devices and medical equipment, in areas such as product promotion, technical support, and training.

Anesthesia technicians can work in these areas.

Anesthesia Technicians assist the anesthesiologist in critical tasks such as conducting the preoperative preparation process, managing the necessary equipment and devices during anesthesia applications, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to postoperative follow-up processes. Therefore, their field of work is quite broad, covering many units in the healthcare sector.
