Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is; care, treatment and monitoring of risky newborns, able to use technical equipment in the unit; to gain knowledge that supports the development of risky newborns.
Course Content: Physiological events in newborn and adaptation to life; Resuscitation in Delivery Room; First care and evaluation when the newborn is born; Temperature control in newborns; Liquid electrolyte balance; Nutrition of the newborn; Infection control in NICU; Apnea; Hypotension and Shock; Newborn Convulsions; Respiratory Disstress; Perinatal Asphyxia.
