Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: The aim of this course; To be able to define regional anesthesia and its methods, to prepare and monitor patients before anesthesia. To follow the complications of regional anesthesia and to take preventive measures for them.
Course Content: Local Anesthetics, Nerve Stimulators and Their Use in Regional Anesthesia, Use of Ultrasonography in Regional Anesthesia Applications, Regional Anesthesia in Pediatric Surgery, Regional Analgesia/Anesthesia Applications in Intensive Care Patients, Regional Anesthesia Applications in Orthopedics, Regional Anesthesia Applications in Regional Anesthesia, Use of Adjuvant Anesthesia in Epidural Anesthesia, Peripheral Anesthesia, Peripheral Anesthesia Lower Extremity Peripheral Nerve Blocks, Regional Anesthesia in Outpatient Cases, Regional Anesthesia in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Regional Anesthesia in Cardiovascular Interventions, Regional Methods in Thoracic Surgery, Regional Anesthesia and Patient Controlled Analgesia, Regional Anesthesia Surgical Anesthesia Peripheral Anesthesia and Reception of Cancer

1) Knows and applies regional anesthesia methods, complications and patient preparation.
2) knows all the central blocks, prepares the patient before the application, knows the complications and takes preventive measures.
3) knows all the peripheral blocks, prepares the patient and material before the application. Knowing the complications that may occur, they follow up and take preventive measures.
4) Defines, prepares and monitors regional anesthesia applications in units such as oncology, gynecology, orthopedics and intensive care.
5) helps patients with special conditions (pregnant, pediatric, obese, geriatric etc.) in regional anesthesia applications, provides follow-up and recognizes complications.
6) Knows the drugs used in regional anesthesia, knows their indications and contraindications and prepares them before the procedure.
