Course Objectives:

The main aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge and skills in text correction, both their own translated texts and texts written by others. This course is both theoretically and practically based. The course will cover a variety of topics such as text editing, proofreading, rewriting, forms of editing, and during the course specific editing techniques will be practiced on a sample text.

Course Content:

Constraints of proofreading and proofreading, tasks of the editor, rewriting, stylistic proofreading, structural proofreading, content proofreading, consistency checking, proofreading, tasks of the proofreader, parameters of proofreading, self-editing will be studied.
