Course Objectives: | The origins of English Drama and different periods, the important writers and their works representing the dramatic movements seen in England from the Middle Ages to the 20th century are analyzed, discussed and interpreted in the context of their political, social and cultural background. |
Course Content: | Critical analysis of dramatic works in English Drama from the early periods of English literary history to the contemporary period. |
