Course Objectives: | This course aims to help students reach A1 level in Spanish within the scope of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). When advancing to the A2 Spanish level, the priority at this level is; To understand the basic rules and functioning of the language and to be able to express oneself in uncomplicated sentences. |
Course Content: | At the end of the semester, the student will be able to understand and use daily conversational expressions and very basic sentences aimed at meeting concrete needs. Can introduce himself and other people, ask and answer questions about personal information such as where he lives, people he knows, and things he owns. Can communicate with others in simple ways when the other person speaks slowly and clearly and is ready to help. |

1) | Repetition of the verbs GUSTAR-ENCANTAR-INTERESAR. Physical appearance (Aspecto Físico) and adjectives and nouns used when making sentences in the expression of physical appearance. | The texts describing physical appearance in Unit 5 should be read and the sentences should be tried to be understood. |
2) | Reflexive verbs (Verbos Reflexivos) and their usage forms. Reflexive and non-reflexive verbs. Creating text describing the daily routine. | The Mafalda text, which contains reflexive verbs in Unit 6, should be read and its words examined. He should try to write his daily routine as he sees it in the text. |
3) | Explaining clocks and daily routine by saying time. Use of reflexive verbs and the concept of time together. | The time telling exercises in Unit 6 should be examined and the exercises should be completed.
