Course Objectives:	The objectives of this course are (i) to introduce students to the nature of translation profession (ii) to familiarize students with the adequate terminology (iii) to enable students to recognise to preliminary theories of translation
Course Content:	Students within the scope of this course will learn the intricacies of the translation profession, the glossary, the significant differences between oral and written translation, what is not included in translation, the theoretical approach to translation, and will practice translation.
