Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: The objectives of this course are to provide defining concepts of storage and functions of storage, explaining layouts in warehouse, determining the order picking algorithm and storage capacity, an understanding of the basic functions and process of storage and required activities for the best storage.
Course Content: Introduction / The Definition And Concepts of Warehouse And Warehousing / The Definition of Warehouse Types And Differences/Similarities Between Warehouse Types / Warehouse Functions / Definition, Techniques And Solutions of Warehouse Location Selection/ Transportation Techniques/ Order Picking Techniques And Algorithms / The Calculation of Storage Capacity and Quantity of Docks / Determination of Warehouse Dimensions

3) Awareness of the necessity of lifelong learning and the ability to access information, to follow developments in science and technology, and to constantly renew oneself.
4) Knowledge of project management, risk management, innovation and change management, entrepreneurship and sustainable development
