Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: The main objective of this course is to introduce Management Information Systems (MIS) and examine the role of information systems in supporting a wide range of organizational functions. This course will provide a managerial prospective on the use, design, and evaluation of information systems.
Course Content: Information systems and strategies. Fundamental concepts of information systems. Information systems in organizations. Decision making and decision support systems. Developing and building information systems. Information systems security and control. E-business / E-commerce. Strategic use of information systems (Customer Relationship Management, Supply Chain Management, Enterprise Resources Planning etc.) Ethical and social issues in information systems. Yönetim Bilgi Sistemi uygulamaları.
