Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: The aim of this course committee is to provide the participants with basic medical knowledge required for the science of dentistry, as well as basic knowledge about the anatomical, physiological, genetic, biochemical and histological properties of cells and tissues.
Course Content: Histology and Embryology
Human cell, cell membrane, organelles, cytoplasm, nucleus, cell division types, cell cycle, various microscopes and examination methods of human cells and tissues, cell and intercellular components of basic tissues, basic steps of human development embryology, development process
Physiology
It covers the subjects of autonomic nervous system, chemical properties and functions of blood, hemodynamic principles, arterial pressure, respiratory system, digestive system, body temperature, coronary circulation, physiological properties of the heart.
Anatomy
It covers subjects such as facial bones, facial muscles, masticatory muscles, innervation of mandible and maxilla, salivary glands, tongue and sublingual muscles, vascular structure of maxilla and mandible.
Medical Biology and Genetics
Medical Biology deals with the structure and molecular mechanisms of cells, while Basic Genetics deals with the study of human genetic mechanisms.
Medical Biochemistry
Biomolecular; It includes structures, functions, reactions, metabolic pathways, clinical biochemistry.

1) One has advanced theoretical and applied knowledge and has the ability to monitor and evaluate application tools, the literature containing the most up-to-date information in the field of dentistry, and other resources.
2) Has the knowledge to evaluate the source, accuracy, reliability and validity of the information obtained in the field of dentistry.
3) Has knowledge about ethical rules and legal responsibilities related to the dentistry profession.
4) Using the advanced theoretical and practical knowledge acquired in the field of dentistry, she interprets and evaluates scientifically proven data, defines and analyzes problems and develops solutions.
5) Provides the patients with the most ideal treatment opportunity by using the advanced manipulation skills acquired in the field of dentistry.
6) Provides health education for individuals, families and society on oral and dental health.
7) Carries out a study in the field of dentistry independently using her advanced knowledge.
