Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide guidance on analyzing literary texts such as short stories, poems and theater for translation purposes and producing appropriate solutions for translating from source language to target language.
Course Content: The translation skills of the students are enhanced with methods such as source and target-oriented translation, phrasal shifts, cultural transfer, rhetoric, creative translation and rewriting.
