Course Objectives: | This course is designed to develop an appreciation of literature through the study of two forms: Short Story and the Novel. The course also aims to teach various key elements of these two literary genres by identifying and discussing their specific characteristics within selected short stories and a sample novel. |
Course Content: | Elements of Fiction, basic chracteristics of a short story and a novel and some of the well-known examples from English and American literature |
