Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: To train students who have the knowledge to solve communication problems in emergency service and crisis environments.
Course Content: Introduction to the Course: Introduction, Goal and Learning Objectives, Human Concept (Basic Human Requirements, Development Theories), Behavioral Characteristics (Passive, Aggressive, Manipulative, Assertive Behavior, Assertive Behavior Development Techniques), Personality Structure and Concepts (Self Concept, Self-Esteem, The Concept of Identity and Self-Recognition), Communication Concept and Components, Communication Types and Body Language, Conflict in Communication, Therapeutic Communication with Patients and Their Relatives and Empathy, Stress and Crisis Concept and Management, Communication with Patient Experiencing Anger and Anger, Patient Experiencing Anxiety and Anxiety Communication with, Communication between Employees in the Emergency Department.

5) Graduates know the scene and patient evaluation and precautions to be taken in case of emergency.
6) Graduates know the laws, regulations, legislation and professional ethical rules regarding their duties, rights and responsibilities as a First and Emergency Aid Technician and act in accordance with these rules.
7) Graduates follow the developments in the agenda of the society and the world in the field of health and evaluate them with social responsibility awareness.
8) Graduates determine their learning needs and have the competence to direct their own learning.
