Profile of the Programme

Istanbul Atlas University English Language and Literature Undergraduate Programme consists of 8 semesters. In each semester students have to fulfill a 30-ECTS course load, In total, students have to take 240 ECTS throughout the entire programme. Moreover, the students must pass the common compulsory courses with the codes ATA TRD ve YDL.
The undergraduate courses in English Language and Literature Department are theoretical; however, each course has its own written assignments and class activities which encourage students to produce. During the their last semester, students are required to write a graduation project.The Graduation Project (9ECTS) aims to enable students to produce an independent and scientific academic paper using their critical, creative, and analytical skills in light of the current and theoretical knowledge they have acquired during their four-year education.
