Aim of the Programme

The update of the program's educational objectives has been structured in alignment with the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TYÇÇ), National Core Education Program for Midwifery (EUÇEP), Health Sciences Accreditation Board (SABAK), as well as the regulations set forth by national and international professional organizations and the recommendations of internal and external stakeholders.
Program Educational Objectives
1.1. Provides midwifery care with protective, health-promoting, caregiving, and healing roles for women, fetuses, newborns, and the community at both national and international levels, with a rights-based approach and awareness of professional ethics.
1.2. Becomes a professional member of the healthcare team by establishing strong interdisciplinary communication and collaboration with professional competence.
1.3. Delivers high-quality, safe, and evidence-based care in midwifery by integrating scientific research, healthcare technologies, and innovative practices.
1.4. Maintains professional development through lifelong learning principles and takes an active role in midwifery education, research, and professional policy-making.
