Facilities

The midwifery department offers various facilities to support both theoretical and practical education. Simulation laboratories are equipped for birth processes and emergency obstetric interventions, while anatomy, physiology, and basic skills laboratories provide hands-on training in blood pressure measurement, IV procedures, injection applications, and women's health examinations. Students gain clinical experience through internships at affiliated training and research hospitals, maternity wards, family health centers, and public/private birth centers. Additionally, library and research facilities offer access to up-to-date textbooks, academic journals, and digital databases related to midwifery and women's health. Academic counseling services support students in career planning, while case-based simulation studies and research opportunities are encouraged through funding programs such as TÜBİTAK and BAP.
