Course Objectives: | The main purpose of the Volunteering Studies course is to strengthen the ties between the university and the society by using the knowledge, skills and experience that students have acquired throughout their education life; humanitarian, social, economic, etc. To help them gain awareness about various issues and problems, especially migration and disasters, disabled people and disadvantaged groups. In this direction, to raise awareness in the society on issues of high social sensitivity such as disability, migration and disasters, through some volunteering activities they will participate in and carry out; thus, it will enable students to take part in voluntary work for a period of time in a volunteering field of their choice -within a plan to be prepared in advance- and to share their results. |
Course Content: | Volunteering is when a person performs activities for the benefit of other individuals, society, environment or animals without expecting any financial return. Engaging in voluntary activities provides many social, psychological and societal contributions to people; makes it easier for them to understand the society and their environment better, increases their self-confidence and enables them to grow up as useful people to the society. For this purpose, in the first seven weeks of the "volunteer studies" course, the content and objectives of which were created, the subjects should be covered theoretically, then planned and applied in the field as volunteer work in public institutions, local governments and NGOs for at least five weeks, the sharing and presentation of the work done by the students. to be shared in class. With this course, one of the most important duties of the university, contributing to the duty of service to society; It will be possible to strengthen the ties between the university and the society by using the knowledge, skills and experience acquired by the students throughout their education life, and to spread the feeling of willingly participating in the volunteer work among the students. |

Performs the examination in accordance with the procedures of radiodiagnostic and nuclear medicine imaging methods. Implements the radiotherapy treatment planned by the radiation physicist with the instruction of the Radiotherapy Specialist. It processes images obtained with radiodiagnostic, nuclear medicine imaging techniques and performs film printing. Evaluates the images obtained by radiodiagnostic and nuclear medicine imaging techniques in terms of radiographic quality. Knows the precautions to be taken against radiation in the working environment and applies the principles of radiation safety. As a medical imaging technician, he knows the laws, regulations, legislation and professional ethical rules related to his duties, rights and responsibilities and acts in accordance with these rules. | |||||||||||||
