Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is; To reveal the kinetic and biomechanical properties of the human body underlying the mobility by using physics. |
Course Content: | Introduction to kinesiology and definitions; Basic concepts and principles of motion in kinesiology, strength, muscle tissue properties and biomechanics; Joint Kinematics, properties and biomechanics of cartilage tissue, tendons and ligaments; Bone tissue properties and biomechanics; Central nervous system elements providing coordination; Adverse effects of posture and immobilization; Spine kinesiology and biomechanics; Kinesiology and biomechanics of the shoulder, elbow, hand-wrist, hip, knee, foot-ankle joints; Gait Analysis. |
