Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to explain the concepts in Clinical Biochemistry, to learn them and to form a basis for the courses to be taken in the next semesters. |
Course Content: | -Introduction to Clinical Biochemistry course. -Biochemical test methods, analyzers that work with these methods and types of samples that can be analyzed. -Carbohydrate metabolism disorders and biochemical tests used in their diagnosis. -Protein and Lipid metabolism disorders and biochemical tests used in their diagnosis. -Biochemical tests used in the diagnosis and diagnosis of hormone metabolism disorders. -Anatomy, physiology and urine formation of the kidneys. -Urinine analysis methods. -What is autoimmunity? Biochemical tests used in the causes and diagnosis of heart diseases, muscle diseases, bone and joint diseases, connective tissue diseases. -Gastrointestinal system and liver metabolism, diseases and biochemical tests used in their diagnosis. -Active biochemical elements in the human body and analysis methods. Drug level and analysis methods. -Body fluids and biochemical analysis methods. -What is coagulation? Coagulation mechanism disorders and biochemical tests used in their diagnosis. -Quality control practices in Clinical Biochemistry laboratories. |
