1) Have basic knowledge about normal structure-functions of human systems.
2) Gains knowledge about the workflow and organization in medical laboratories.
3) Have basic theoretical and applied knowledge about the field.
2 - Skills
Cognitive - Practical
1) Knows manual and automatic analysis methods in the Medical Laboratory and produces solutions in case of malfunctions.
2) Takes the samples that the specialist physician deems necessary from the patient in an appropriate way, and performs the sample transfer under appropriate conditions.
3) Performs routine examinations in the medical laboratory, follows the sample, concludes the analysis and establishes the relationship with the diseases.
4) Accurately obtains the findings, organizes them, presents them for sharing and use in accordance with the purpose.
5) Takes safety precautions in the medical laboratory, applies personal safety rules and creates a safe laboratory environment.
6) In the working environment; applies first aid and emergency care in accordance with the guide/directive in emergency situations.

1) Gains the ability to communicate effectively with physicians ,colleagues, other healthcare professionals and patients in an ethical framework., other healthcare professionals and patients in an ethical framework.
2) Uses his/her mother tongue at a good level in oral and written communication for his/her profession.

1) Participates in the necessary programs, vocational in-service training activities and other studies in order to improve herself personally and professionally by updating the knowledge, skills and competencies related to her field with the awareness of lifelong learning.
2) It follows the developments in technology and science and has the consciousness of constantly renewing itself.
Field Specific Competence
1) He/she makes preliminary preparations for manual and automatic studies before analysis.
2) Applies basic tests related to different areas of the medical laboratory.
3) Uses medical laboratory equipment in accordance with its rules and techniques, ensures that they work in the most efficient way by controlling and maintaining them.
4) Have sufficient awareness of environmental protection and occupational safety.

1) Takes responsibility in a given task and carries it out individually and takes responsibility in working groups when necessary.
