Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is; Introducing the heat, electromagnetic, mechanical and electrotherapeutic modalities used in the areas of physiotherapy for two semesters, teaching the use of these modalities and solving problems with these treatment approaches based on sample cases. |
Course Content: | Overview of the previous term; TENS and its applications; NMES and its applications; FES and its applications; Interferential currents and applications; Russian current and its applications; high voltage pulsed galvanic current and its applications; Microcurrent and its applications; High density laser and its applications; Low intensity laser and its applications; Mechanical modality ESWT and its application; Mechanical modality traction and its application; Mechanical modality intermittent pneumatic compression and its application. |
