Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives:

Knowing low vision and the diseases that cause low vision. Knowing how Low Vision Rehabilitation is done. Knowing low vision devices and the structure of the telescope, the structure of magnifiers, the types and structures of magnifying glasses. Making sense of the Low Vision prescription and assembling the necessary equipment.

Course Content:

Low vision and rehabilitation of low vision aids, Low Vision Aids: Glasses I, Low Vision Aids: Glasses II, Low Vision Aids: Handheld Magnifiers, Low Vision Aids: Standing Magnifiers, Low Vision Aids: Loops, Low Vision Aids: Telescopes, Low Vision Aids : Bioptics, Low Vision Aids: Telemicroscopes, Low Vision Aids: Intraocular Lenses, Non-Optical Low Vision Aids: Lighting, Non-Optical Low Vision Aids: Perforated Glasses, Non-Optical Low Vision Aids: Projection Tools
