Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to provide the student with the ability to evaluate the individual as a whole with her social environment and to analyze the relationship between social factors, health-disease and health services from a sociological perspective |
Course Content: | This course includes introduction to health sociology and basic concepts, historical development of health sociology, health sociology course study areas and research methods, health sociology theories, social-cultural structure variables affecting the health system, health personnel and patient communication, patient rights and medical ethics, health services in Turkey, and the health system and policies in Turkey. |
