Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is; To provide students with information about the basic concepts, principles and applications of biochemistry. |
Course Content: | Building blocks of the cell, General properties of carbohydrates, Glycolysis-TCA, Gluconeopenesis-PPP-Glycogen synthesis, General properties of fats, Boxydaiosis of fatty acids, Synthesis of fatty acids, Lipoprotein metabolism, Amino acids peptide bonds, Removal of nitrogenous substances from the body, Nucleic acids and their metabolism, Hormones, Fat soluble vitamins, Water soluble vitamins. |
