Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to provide advanced knowledge and key skills necessary for the company secretary or governance professional to act as chief adviser to the board and other stakeholders on best practice in corporate governance, and as the facilitator for systematic application across a wide range of organizations. |
Course Content: | The course looks into the critical factors for the value of a firm. Because greater protection of shareholders lowers the cost of capital due to better risk mitigation. Corporate governance is the set of mechanisms used to manage the relationship among stakeholders and to determine and control the strategic direction and performance of organizations. |
