Profile of the Programme

The Operating Room Services Program is a practice-oriented associate degree program that provides students with the knowledge and skills required for the preparation of surgical instruments and materials, the application of sterilization and disinfection rules, the functioning of the central sterilization unit, and supporting the surgical team during surgical procedures. The program aims to train qualified operating room technicians who can work as part of the operating room team under the guidance of the surgeon and the operating room charge nurse, with a strong sense of professional responsibility.
