Aim of the Programme

Istanbul Atlas University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Nursing Undergraduate Education Program Objectives (EPA);
EPA1: Fulfills the roles and responsibilities of the profession in the field of health care by observing ethical principles and values in protecting, improving and maintaining the health of the individual, family and society.
-80% of graduates start working as nurses within the first year.
-2% of graduates start working as training nurses/special area nurses within 5 years.
EPA2: To train nurse leaders who use effective communication and critical thinking skills and work collaboratively in healthcare delivery.
-1% of graduates become nurse managers within the first 5 years.
-3% of graduates take active roles in the boards/committees/commissions operating in the institution they work for within the first 5 years.
-5% of graduates take an active role in professional organizations/non-governmental organizations within 5 years.EPA3: To train nurses who continue their personal and professional development with their innovative, creative and investigative role, by adopting lifelong learning as a principle.
