Course Objectives: | The aim is to identify issues causing deficiencies in musculoskeletal functions due to neurological disorders, summarize the resulting clinical symptoms, enhance knowledge and competence to plan and implement occupational therapy interventions for such problems. |
Course Content: | This course will cover the characteristics of neurological diseases, as well as injury and disease mechanisms. It will explore the impact of diseases on performance and participation, principles and applications of occupational therapy for problems related to neurological diseases/disorders, and case studies. |
