Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: At the end of the clinical-laboratory practice of the course, the student; It is aimed to be able to evaluate the individual with mental problems, adapt the theories in the field of psychiatric nursing to the care plan, use counseling and assistance skills, and apply mental health protective, improving and therapeutic methods to individuals in need.
Course Content: It includes the evaluation of individuals with mental problems, the adaptation of theories in the field of psychiatric nursing to the care plan, the use of counseling and assistance skills, and the application of mental health protective, improving and therapeutic methods to individuals in need.

1) Evaluates the therapeutic environment of the clinic in the light of theoretical knowledge of mental health and psychiatric nursing.

4) Gains skills in approaches to treatment compliance and social reintegration of individuals with mental disorders.
