Course Objectives:	The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge and application skills about the basic principles of surgery, diseases that require surgical intervention, and the principles of care before, during and after the operation.
Course Content:	This course covers infection prevention and control, wound care, care of the patient in shock, perioperative care, breast, respiratory, gastrointestinal, liver and biliary tract surgery.

5) Takes at least two out-of-field courses in the education program.
