Course Objectives: | This course offers an in-depth exploration of consumer behaviour, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of consumer’s choices and purchasing decisions. Understanding consumer behaviour is critical to developing effective marketing strategies, handling overall business decisions, and succeeding in a competitive marketplace through more customer-centric operations. By delving into different aspects of consumer behaviour, students will gain valuable insights into the drivers behind consumer choices. |
Course Content: | The topics we discuss in this course mainly consist of four parts, starting with an introduction, which will help to build a basic understanding of consumer behaviour and research methodology. The second part is about the pre-decision process, which will help you understand the changes in attention, perception and attitude leading up to the decision. The third part is the consumer decision-making process, which is helpful to understand the consumer's choice and the stages of decision-making. Finally, we'll learn more about how consumers differ in personality, motivations, and affects. |
