Course Objectives: | This course provides very detailed knowledge about cell molecular biology which is essential for student who desirous to make research and to explore more specialized aspects of cell and molecular biology. This course also provides the foundation for the subsequent and related course in molecular biology and genetics. |
Course Content: | Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic Cell, Cell Chemistry, Biosynthesis, The Structure and Function of DNA and Chromosomes, Genome Structure, Internal Organization of the Cell , Structure of the Membrane and MembraneTransport, Energy Conversion in the Mitochondria and the Chloroplasts. Intracellular Compartments ansd Transport,Cell to Cell Comunication, Cytoskeleton, The Mechanics of Cell Division, The Cell Death and Cancer. |
