| Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to develop students’ skills in reading, understanding, and analyzing academic English texts; to strengthen paragraph and essay writing skills; and to enable them to produce coherent and effective texts in accordance with academic writing conventions. |
| Course Content: | Reading strategies, academic text analysis, identifying main ideas and supporting details, making inferences, vocabulary development, paragraph structure, essay types, introduction-body-conclusion writing, academic language use, summarizing, and use of sources. |
