Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to help students understand volunteering in the context of social responsibility, ethics, and civic engagement; and to develop skills in working with NGOs, project development, and creating social impact.
Course Content: Concept of volunteering, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), social responsibility, civic engagement, volunteer project management, working with disadvantaged groups, disaster and crisis volunteering, ethical principles, sustainable volunteering, local and global volunteering practices.
