Course Objectives: "In cancer, focusing on performances in daily life-production and leisure activities, we use evaluation and intervention methods.
to teach from an occupational therapist point of view.
Course Content: This course; Definition, incidence, etiology and emergencies of cancer, Problems encountered by the occupational therapist in Oncology and Palliative Therapy, Symptom Control Approach in Occupational Therapy, Anxiety / Stress Management and Relaxation Techniques in Ergotherapy, Respiratory Functions Management in Occupational Therapy, Cancer-Related Approaches in Occupational Therapy, Occupational Studies. Pediatric Oncology and Palliative Care in Occupational Therapy, HIV-related cancers and palliative care in ergotherapy, Occupational therapy in neuroncology, Environmental regulations for oncological patients (home, hospital and nursing homes), Using creativity as a psychodynamic activity, Measuring the results of occupational therapy in oncology / Literature review, Discussion; Includes topics.
