Course Objectives:

The main purpose of this course is; It is to learn case examples regarding forensic issues encountered in the midwifery profession by analyzing them with general theoretical knowledge.

Course Content:

This lesson; Sharing the aims and objectives of the forensic course, Concept of Responsibility, Concept of Value, Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Work Accident, Tort, Steps to Follow in Crisis Intervention, Midterm Exam, Guilt Defense, Identity Determination, Evidence, Wounds and Ecchymosis, Gunshot Wounds, Sexual Assault, Sexual Abuse, Harassment, Thanatology, General Exam; Includes topics.

1) It defines the rights of women, pregnant women, fetuses and children on the basis of human rights.
2) Describes the responsibilities of midwives in judicial matters.
3) Provides counseling on problematic interpersonal relationships such as sexual problems, gender-based violence, emotional and physical abuse.
4) Explains strategies to provide support to special groups such as adolescents and victims of sexual violence in the postpartum period.
