Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is; To provide students with information about classification of drugs, mechanism of action, side effects and the relationship of pharmacology with diseases. |
Course Content: | Introduction to pharmacology and basic concepts, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, Drug forms, Administration routes, Solution preparation, Introduction to the autonomic nervous system, Cholinergic system and drugs, Adrenergic nervous system and drugs, Cardiovascular system drugs, (Heart Glycosides, Antiarrhythmics, Diuretics, Antibiotics, Disinfectants Introduction to the central nervous system, Sedative and Hypnotic Drugs, Alcohol, Anesthetic agents, muscle relaxants, NSAI, Drug use in pregnancy, lactation and old age, Endocrine system pharmacology. |
