Course Objectives: | The focus of this course is to provide a broad overview of microeconomics. The course covers the topics of the foundation of economic theory; the economic theory of individuals behavior; the theory of the firm and economic organization; how the general equilibrium occurs in market structure of perfect competition, monopholy, and oligopoly; basic understanding of capital theory. |
Course Content: | Microeconomics is an introductory undergraduate course that teaches the fundamentals of microeconomics. This course introduces microeconomic concepts and analysis, supply and demand analysis, theories of the firm and individual behavior, competition and monopoly, and welfare economics. |
