Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives:	This course aims to provide students with information about the types of fabrics and fibers used in the surgical field, packaging methods, bags, reuse of woven fabrics, rigid carrier systems, standards of boxing shirts, surgical area covering materials, sterilization packaging and storage standards.
Course Content:	General introduction to packaging materials Woven fabrics Non-woven materials Packaging Bags Washing and reusing woven fabrics Rigid carrier systems General features of the packages Boxing shirts and standards Surgical area covering materials Standards in sterilization packaging Standards regarding the storage of sterile materials
