Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: The aim of this course, which is an interdisciplinary science that analyzes various physical phenomena within biological processes and applies different methods and approaches, is to inform the student about these processes.
Course Content: Physiological processes such as muscle contraction, EEG, hemodynamics, respiration, hearing and vision biophysics as well as basic topics such as cell, cell components, water and membrane structure are the content of this course.

1) Recognizes the cell which is the building block of life.
2) Knows the material passages in the cell and the semipermeable-selectively permeable membrane model.
3) Gains insight into action potentials and biopotentials.
4) Knows the basic teachings about the principles of hemodynamics, breathing, vision and hearing biophysics.
5) Interpret basic physiological processes such as muscle contraction and heart movements.
6) Learn basic physiological processes such as osmosis, diffusion, active transport and dialysis.
7) Defines magnetism, radioactivity, can perform activities such as creating graphics from data.
8) Has an idea about the reflection of thermodynamic laws on biological processes.
9) Explain homeosthesis with physical processes.
