Course Objectives:

The aim of this course is to understand the meaning and importance of professional ethics and health ethics in general and how it has a place in the practices of health workers.

Course Content:

Definition of ethics; basic principles; duties of international organizations regarding ethical rules; importance and necessity of informed consent; the importance and ethical value of concepts such as justice, discrimination, privacy, and privacy in health; knowledge of ethics for disadvantaged groups; knowledge and importance of patient rights; To be aware of professional rights and legal responsibilities as a health worker; ethical methods of working in groups in health; determination of ethical problems frequently encountered in clinical practice and analysis of good ethical practices for solving these problems; To inform about ethical rules and ethical committees to be followed in order to conduct research.

2) Knows well the general frameworks of obtaining patient consent before health practices.

4) Makes the definition of malpractice. Knows in which situations malpractice can occur and how to prevent it.
