Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: In today's globally competitive environment, customer expectations are constantly increasing as they require more diverse and high-performance products and services. The source of these differentiated and high-performance products and services is the technologies that organizations possess and utilize.
This course aims to teach, at an applied level, **Technology Management** processes that have not yet fully found their place within the management approach in our country and are not explicitly defined in institutional management processes. In this context, the goal is to develop the ability to manage technologies and technological innovations, which have become the most critical resources of organizations today.
Course Content: 1. Understanding technology management activities and the fundamental tools required to perform these activities.
2. Evaluating the application framework for technology management.
3. Designing and implementing the functions of planning, directing, and auditing technology management processes, particularly at the corporate level.
4. Planning field research related to technology management processes, conducting field audits in accordance with established methodologies, and comparing the results with rationally accepted processes to develop new institutional regulations.
5. Gaining the ability to establish interdisciplinary relationships in the emerging field of **Technology and Innovation Management** within Industrial Engineering through the knowledge acquired in this course.
