Course Objectives:	This course aims to comprehend the characteristics of the postpartum period and maternal and infant care.
Course Content:	Postpartum risk situations and care, postpartum intervention, postpartum care

1) Explain the duties, authorities and responsibilities of midwives in the normal postpartum period.
2) Explain the concept of the normal postpartum period, the physiology of the postpartum period and the factors that play a role in the postpartum period.

1) can apply necessary midwifery interventions by evaluating the mother and baby during the normal postpartum period.
2) Applies the necessary midwifery care by evaluating the newborn in the postpartum period.
3) Evaluate the mother in the postpartum period and create the necessary midwifery care plan.
4) Can apply necessary midwifery interventions by detecting risky situations that may develop in the mother in the postpartum period.
