Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: intercultural midwifery; It aims at the importance of the achievements of individuals who are sensitive to the cultural values of the society served, and respect for cultural differences, in terms of the society in which they live in the context of the midwifery profession.
Course Content: The concept and definitions of culture, cultural elements, the place and importance of culture in health, the concept of health and disease and its relationship with culture, socio-cultural factors affecting health The concept of Intercultural (Transculture), Intercultural Communication (Values, Beliefs) Intercultural Health Approaches Cultural Approach and Its Importance in Midwifery Care Birth Intercultural Midwifery Approaches in Pre, Birth and Postnatal and Child Care Cultural Practices Affecting Women's Health and Midwifery Approaches in Turkish Culture and Midwifery in Turkish Culture Cultural practices in prenatal, birth, postnatal and child care Midwifery in European Countries (France, Netherlands) Prenatal, birth Cultural practices in , postpartum and child care Midwifery in European Countries (Germany, UK) Cultural practices in prenatal, natal, postnatal and child care Midwifery in Japan Cultural practices in prenatal, natal, postnatal and child care in Australia and New Zealand prenatal, birth, d Cultural practices in post-natal and child care.
