Course Objectives: |
To teach physiotherapeutic evaluation methods, pain control, activity modification, raising the quality of life and physical therapy and rehabilitation interventions for the improvement of the musculoskeletal system in oncological patients. |
Course Content: |
Neoplasm formation, pathophysiology, cancer types and classification, malignant and benign definition, basic physiotherapy and rehabilitation evaluations in oncological patients, learning rehabilitation interventions that can be done to prevent and, if any, reduce functional losses caused by physical, mental and social problems in cancer patients, physical activity in cancer patients , lifestyle changes, modifications to improve the quality of life, head and neck, musculoskeletal system, cardiopulmonary system, digestive system cancers and rehabilitation, breast cancer and lung cancer rehabilitation, leukemia rehabilitation, rehabilitation approaches in pediatric cancers, physiotherapy and rehabilitation that can be done to reduce cancer pain learning initiatives. |
