Course Objectives: | To have knowledge about women's health and diseases, to learn treatment and rehabilitation approaches in urogynecological pathologies, to develop physical activity and rehabilitation skills during pregnancy and post-pregnancy. |
Course Content: | Introduction to women's health and basic concepts, genitourinary system anatomy and physiology, urogynecological evaluations, women's health in puberty, adulthood and post-menopause, menstrual cycle pathologies, sexual dysfunctions, pelvic pain and its treatment, types and treatment of urinary incontinence in women, pelvic organ prolapse, changes in pregnancy, risky pregnancies and physiotherapy, exercise during pregnancy, normal and post-cesarean section exercise. |
