Course Objectives: The aim of course is: -To teach basic theoretical knowledge about Enzymology -To provide information about the Chemical Structure and Properties of Enzymes -
To explain the effect of Enzyme Catalyst -To teach Classification of Enzymes -To teach Non-enzymatic Biological Catalysis, -To explain The Enzymes in Drug

Course Content: Course Content : General Properties of Enzymes,Chemistry of Enzymes, Enzymes as the Catalyst, Enzymatic Reactions, Classification of Enzymes, Hydrolyticand Group Transfer Reactions, Enzymatic Redox Chemistry, Enzymatic Carbon-Carbon Bond Formation, Enzymatic Addition/Elimination Reactions, EnzymaticTransformations of Amino Acids, Isomerases, Non-enzymatic Biological Catalysis, Enzymes in Drug Design
