Course Objectives: | The goal of this course is to teach students the stem cell concept, types of stem cells, their isolation, stem cell theraphy and discussions and legal regulations on the stem cell technology. |
Course Content: | Description of stem cell, types of stem cells and their sources, isolation and amplification of embryonic stem cells, self regeneration capacity of stem cells, differentiation of embryonic stem cells, uses of differentiated stem cells, analysis of stem cell research articles, stem cell ethics and politics in our society and in the world. |
