Course Objectives: | It aims to introduce students to appropriate approaches, methods and purposes to consider when translating media texts. Students are expected to acquire the knowledge and experience necessary to accurately and meaningfully analyze and translate selected texts within a wide range of topics such as economics, politics, popular science and lifestyle magazines. |
Course Content: | News articles, headlines, entries, translation activities, press history, technological developments in the media. |
